Madhya Pradesh has emerged as a Growth Centre of the country in the last decade and it has witnessed a radical transformation in terms of economic and social development and increase in investment as more industries and companies are eager to invest here. The industries set up have been the backbone for a strong economical and infrastructural growth of Madhya Pradesh.

        It is important that development is sustainable and its benefits are delivered to people who need it most. CSR is a very important factor in this aspect, as it can drive environmental and social-economic sustainability. Well-planned CSR activities deliver benefits for industry as well as for the community, helping create a bridge between both which goes a long way in providing sustainable growth for the state.

       Government of Madhya Pradesh, Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion is the nodal department for facilitation of corporate social responsibility in the state and Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd is the nodal agency.

• CSR Facilitation guidelines as per order no. F 20-8-/2013/B-Eleven has mandated all the State Departments and District collectors to create Shelf of Projects with minimum budget of INR 1 Lakhs.  Private companies can choose to implement projects from these ‘Shelf of Projects’. However they are free to take CSR projects other than ‘Shelf of Projects’.
• Government organizations / PSU’s are required to mandatorily implement projects from the defined shelf projects.
• State and District Level CSR facilitation Committee’s has been setup to facilitate implementation of CSR projects in districts of Madhya Pradesh.
• Madhya Corporate Social Responsibility Portal is a digital platform to facilitate and encourage the participation of  Corporates, NGOs,Implementing Partners,Individuals and other stakeholders of the society This interactive web portal  will act as a one stop solution for all stakeholders involved with CSR related activities in the state.
• Central /State PSU’s, Corporates , Companies, Individuals, NGO’s can register themselves on this portal  to contribute to government initiatives in various capacities.
